Fire Extinguishers

FAS INTERNATIONAL provides fire extinguisher and industrial and commercial fire production solutions in Pakistan. We offer all types of fire extinguisher (Water and Foam, Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Wet Chemical, Clean Agent, Dry Powder, Water Mist, Cartridge Operated). A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations. It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling, endangers the user (i.e., no escape route, smoke, explosion hazard, etc.), or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire brigade. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which can be discharged to extinguish a fire. Fire extinguishers manufactured with non-cylindrical pressure vessels also exist but are less common.

The water fire extinguishers are used to tackle Class A Fires which are common combustible fires such as wood, plastics, paper, fabric, rubber, etc.
2- Spray foam extinguishers provide a fast, effective and powerful way of tackling fires involving flammable liquids. The foam forms a seal over the surface to prevent re-ignition. Also suitable for fires involving wood, paper or textiles.
3- Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers cover Class B fires (involving oil, paint and petrol) and electrical fires.
4- The highly versatile dry powder fire extinguishers are suitable for tackling Class A, B and C fires. Class A fires involve textiles such as wood and paper; Class B fires involve petrol, oil and paint; Class C fires involves flammable gases.
5- Wet chemical extinguishers (also known as the F Class) have been designed specifically for dealing with fires caused by high temperature (360°C+) cooking oils used in industrial catering kitchens and fast food outlets
6- Contemporary, stainless steel, antique copper and polished gold fire extinguishers can also be purchased to give your premise a modern and contemporary look.
